The Greenwood Gators lacrosse squad scored 8 points and limited the visiting Owensboro Red Devils to 3 in the Gators league triumph on Wednesday.

The Gators now own a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Warren for a Region 1 challenge on Monday, March 31. Greenwood will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 10-2 league loss to Bowling Green (Bowling Green, KY). The Spartans record now stands at 4-5.

With the loss, Owensboro falls to 0-7 on the year. The Red devils host Evansville Bosse (Evansville, IN) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 15. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a record of 2-3.
