The Wheatmore Warriors (Trinity, NC) soccer overwhelmed the host Southwestern Randolph Cougars (Asheboro, NC), 8-0 in Wednesday's league challenge.
The Warriors now hold a 7-2 record. They play next when they host Uwharrie Charter Academy for a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A challenge on Monday, March 31. Wheatmore will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 8-0 league win over Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 6-3.
With the loss, Southwestern Randolph moves to 4-8 on the year. The Cougars travel to Uwharrie Charter Academy (Asheboro, NC) to encounter the Eagles in a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A challenge on Wednesday, April 2. The Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 6-3.
