Virginia High School Baseball - Nelson County loses to Amherst County

Amherst County Lancers (Amherst, VA) followers left the game satisfied Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Nelson County Governors (Lovingston, VA), 11-1 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Amherst County moves its record to 4-0 on the season. The Lancers host Liberty Christian (Lynchburg, VA) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Thursday, March 27. The Bulldogs come into the match with a record of 0-0.

The Governors now possess a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stuarts Draft for a non-league match on Friday, March 28. Nelson County will confront a Cougars squad coming off a 12-3 non-league win over Buckingham (Buckingham, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 4-1.
