The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Holy Cross Knights (Flushing, NY) and the visiting St. John's Prep Red Storm (Astoria, NY), saw Holy Cross's baseball team beat St. John's Prep by a margin of 11-6.

The Knights (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Cardinal Hayes (Bronx, NY). The Cardinals enter the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Cardinal Hayes was overwhelmed by St. Francis Prep (Fresh Meadows, NY), 12-4, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Red Storm face the St. Anthony's Friars (Melville, NY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 29. St. John's Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
