Maryland High School Softball - Chesapeake bounces South River

In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Chesapeake Cougars softball team scored a nice 13-1 win over the South River Seahawks.
The Cougars (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Northeast (Pasadena, MD). The Eagles come into the non-league match with a 4-0 record. In their last match, Northeast notched a victory over Severna Park (Severna Park, MD), 4-1, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Seahawks confront the Southern Bulldogs (Harwood, MD) in a non-league match, on Friday, March 28. South River will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record.
