Florida High School Softball - Forest sneaks past Gainesville

In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Forest Wildcats softball team scored a tight 6-5 win over the Gainesville Hurricanes.
The Wildcats (8-3) will now prepare for their match against The Villages Charter (The Villages, FL). The Buffalo come into the non-league match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, The Villages Charter was nipped by Belleview (Belleview, FL), 18-7, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Hurricanes confront the Trinity Catholic Celtics (Ocala, FL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, April 4. Gainesville will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record.
