The Rio Hondo Prep Kares triumphed over the host Mountain View Vikings softball squad by a count of 19-4 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Kares meet the Arroyo Knights (El Monte, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, April 9. Rio Hondo Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record.

The Vikings (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Rosemead (Rosemead, CA). The Panthers go into the match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Rosemead gained a win over Glendale (Glendale, CA), 17-6, in a non-league match.
