California High School Softball - Berkeley held off by San Leandro

March 26, 2025: Berkeley, CA 94704

The San Leandro Pirates got by the host Berkeley Yellowjackets softball squad by a count of 3-2 in Wednesday's league challenge.

Next, the Pirates meet the De Anza Dons (El Sobrante, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, April 2. San Leandro will attempt to upgrade on its 11-1 season record. The Dons go into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 11-0 league loss to Salesian College Preparatory (Richmond, CA).

The Yellowjackets (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Tennyson (Hayward, CA). The Lancers go into the West Alameda County-Shoreline challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Tennyson was nudged by San Lorenzo (San Lorenzo, CA), 22-8, in a league challenge.
