The Freeport Red Devils softball squad (Freeport, NY), was routed 17-3 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the visiting Lynbrook Owls (Lynbrook, NY)

With the triumph, Lynbrook improves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Owls travel to New Hyde Park Memorial (New Hyde Park, NY) to face the Gladiators in a Class A Conference 1 contest on Thursday, March 27. The Gladiators enter the contest with a record of 0-0.

The Red Devils now hold a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Lynbrook for a Section 8 ABC-5 contest on Thursday, April 24.
