The Newtown Pioneers (Elmhurst, NY) softball routed the visiting Hillcrest Hawks (Jamaica, NY), 21-0 in Wednesday's non-league outing.
The Pioneers now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lane for a non-league outing on Thursday, March 27.
With the loss, Hillcrest moves to 0-1 on the season. The Hawks host Lane (Brooklyn, NY) to encounter the Knights in a non-league outing on Friday, March 28. The Knights come into the outing with a record of 0-1. Lane lost 8-1 in their recent non-league outing against Newtown (Elmhurst, NY)
