Maui Sabers (Kahului, HI) backers left the game pleased Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Lahainaluna Lunas (Lahaina, HI), 9-6 in a league game.

With the triumph, Maui upgrades its record to 4-2 on the year. The Sabers host Baldwin (Wailuku, HI) to play the Bears in a Maui I game on Saturday, March 29. The Bears enter the game with a record of 5-0. Baldwin won 15-0 in their recent non-league game against Kamehameha Maui (Pukalani, HI)

The Lunas now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Kamehameha Maui for a non-league game on Wednesday, April 2. Lahainaluna will play a Warriors squad coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to King Kekaulike (Pukalani, HI). The Warriors record now stands at 0-7.
