The Lincoln Railsplitters softball team scored 20 runs and held the visiting New Utrecht Utes to 5 in the Railsplitters non-league win on Wednesday.

The Railsplitters now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Roosevelt for a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 2.

With the loss, New Utrecht moves to 0-1 on the season. The Utes travel to Roosevelt (Brooklyn, NY) to confront the Cougars in a non-league battle on Friday, March 28. The Cougars come into the battle with a record of 0-1. Roosevelt lost 20-6 in their recent non-league battle against Dewey (Brooklyn, NY)
