The Monta Vista Matadors softball squad (Cupertino, CA), was routed 21-11 in Wednesday's league contest with the host Lynbrook Vikings (San Jose, CA)

With the triumph, Lynbrook improves its record to 2-4 on the year. The Vikings host Santa Clara (Santa Clara, CA) to face the Bruins in a El Camino contest on Friday, March 28. The Bruins enter the contest with a record of 4-4. Santa Clara won 19-9 in their recent league contest against MacDonald (San Jose, CA)

The Matadors now hold a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Palo Alto for a El Camino contest on Friday, March 28. Monta Vista will face a Vikings squad coming off a 12-3 league win over Fremont (Sunnyvale, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 4-2.
