Texas High School Baseball - Blum defeats Covington

The Blum Bobcats baseball team scored 14 runs and held the host Covington Owls to 6 in the Bobcats league win on Thursday.

The Bobcats now own a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bruceville-Eddy for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 31. Blum will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 14-0 league loss to Bosqueville (Waco, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 4-9.

With the defeat, Covington drops to 2-6 on the year. The Owls host Milford (Milford, TX) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 2A Region II District 15 test on Tuesday, March 31. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 0-1. Milford lost 8-6 in their recent non-league outing against Itasca (Itasca, TX)
