The Webb Spartans baseball team scored 14 runs and limited the host Sequoyah Chiefs to 2 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Thursday.

Next up, the Spartans battle the Friendship Christian Commanders (Lebanon, TN) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, March 28. Webb will attempt to advance on its 4-4 season record. The Commanders come into the outing with a 7-4 record after their 5-1 non-league loss to Beech (Hendersonville, TN).

With the defeat, Sequoyah drops to 3-7 on the year. The Chiefs travel to Loudon (Loudon, TN) to clash with the Redskins in a 3A District 5 test on Monday, March 30. The Redskins go into the test with a record of 4-7. Loudon won 5-4 in their recent non-league test against Northview Academy (Kodak, TN)
