The Silverado Hawks softball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Barstow Aztecs to 2 in the Hawks league win on Thursday.

The Hawks now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Victor Valley for a Desert Sky battle on Tuesday, March 31. Silverado will confront a Jackrabbits team coming off a 7-4 league win over Adelanto (Adelanto, CA). The Jackrabbits record now stands at 3-10.

With the loss, Barstow moves to 3-7 on the season. The Aztecs travel to Granite Hills (Apple Valley, CA) to meet the Cougars in a Desert Sky challenge on Tuesday, March 31. The Cougars go into the challenge with a record of 4-4. Granite Hills lost 8-5 in their recent league challenge against Victor Valley (Victorville, CA)
