Virginia High School Softball - Lewis Mount Vernon

Mount Vernon Majors (Alexandria, VA) fans exited the stadium happy Thursday as they observed their softball team get by the host Lewis Lancers (Springfield, VA), 13-10 in a league match.

The Majors (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Hayfield (Alexandria, VA). The Hawks enter the National game with a 0-2 record.

The Lancers now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Edison for a National game on Tuesday, April 7. Lewis will play a Eagles squad coming off a 17-10 league win over Annandale (Annandale, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-0.
