Utah High School Softball - Payson topped by Spanish Fork

March 26, 2026: Spanish Fork, UT 84660

Spanish Fork Dons (Spanish Fork, UT) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Payson Lions (Payson, UT), 10-0 in a league game.

With the triumph, Spanish Fork upgrades its record to 8-4 on the year. The Dons host Timpview (Provo, UT) to play the Thunderbirds in a 5A Region 7 match on Tuesday, March 31. The Thunderbirds come into the match with a record of 3-6. Timpview lost 15-2 in their recent league match against Pleasant Grove (Pleasant Grove, UT)

In their next game, the Lions confront the Salem Hills Skyhawks (Salem, UT) in a 5A Region 7 match, on Tuesday, March 31. Payson will attempt to better on its 5-7 season record. The Skyhawks come into the match with a 10-0 record after their 8-4 league win over Springville (Springville, UT).
