The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Wayne County Wildcats (Waynesboro, TN) and the visiting Riverside Panthers (Decaturville, TN), observed Wayne County's softball team get by Riverside by a tally of 10-5.

The Wildcats (2-1) will now prepare for their bout against Hughes (Clifton, TN). The Lions go into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record.

The Panthers now hold a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Collinwood for a non-league contest on Friday, March 27.
