Mississippi High School Softball - Kosciusko bounces Southeast Lauderdale

Kosciusko Whippets (Kosciusko, MS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Southeast Lauderdale Tigers (Meridian, MS), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Whippets now own a 10-5 record. They take the field next when they host Northeast Lauderdale for a 4A Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, March 30. Kosciusko will battle a Trojans squad coming off a 14-0 non-league loss to Puckett (Puckett, MS). The Trojans record now stands at 0-4.
With the loss, Southeast Lauderdale falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Raleigh (Raleigh, MS) to battle the Lions in a 3A Region 5 challenge on Tuesday, April 6. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 8-6.
