McQueen Lancers (Reno, NV) backers exited the stadium thrilled Sunday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Reed Raiders (Sparks, NV), 6-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Lancers now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Spanish Springs for a challenge on Saturday, April 2.

With the loss, Reed falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Raiders host Churchill County (Fallon, NV) to battle the Greenwave in a non-league challenge on Sunday, March 27. The Greenwave enter the challenge with a record of 1-2. Churchill County lost 18-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Spanish Springs (Sparks, NV)
