North Carolina High School Baseball - Andrews loses to Hayesville

The Andrews Wildcats baseball team (Andrews, NC), was overwhelmed 24-0 in Monday's league outing with the visiting Hayesville Yellowjackets (Hayesville, NC)

The Yellowjackets now hold a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Swain County for a Smoky Mountain 1A outing on Tuesday, March 28. Hayesville will confront a Maroon Devils team coming off a 17-2 league win over Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NC). The Maroon Devils record now stands at 3-5.

Next, the Wildcats confront the Hiwassee Dam Eagles (Murphy, NC) in a Smoky Mountain 1A outing, on Tuesday, March 28. Andrews will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record. The Eagles go into the outing with a 2-3 record after their 14-6 league loss to Swain County (Bryson City, NC).
