Virginia High School Baseball - Bland County loses to Rural Retreat

In Monday's non-league game, the visiting Rural Retreat Indians baseball team scored a nice 13-1 victory over the Bland County Bears.
The Indians (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA). The Pioneers go into the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Fort Chiswell was overwhelmed by Grayson County (Independence, VA), 10-0, in a league game.
The Bears (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Galax (Galax, VA). The Maroon Tide go into the Mountain Empire game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Galax overcame Holston (Damascus, VA), 10-1, in a non-league game.
