The Evadale Rebels baseball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Spurger Pirates to 0 in the Rebels league victory on Monday.
The Rebels (5-7) will now prepare for their match against Spurger (Spurger, TX). The Pirates go into the 1A Region IV District 25 match with a 1-6 record. In their last match, Spurger was overwhelmed by West Hardin (Saratoga, TX), 14-1, in a league match.
The Pirates (1-8) will now prepare for their match against Evadale (Evadale, TX). The Rebels go into the 2A Region IV District 25 match with a 3-7 record. In their last match, Evadale gained a win over Hull-Daisetta (Daisetta, TX), 20-7, in a league match.
