The Patrick County Cougars baseball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Floyd County Buffaloes to 6 in the Cougars non-league victory on Monday.
The Cougars (6-0) will now prepare for their match against Tunstall (Dry Fork, VA). The Trojans go into the Piedmont match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, Tunstall ran past Dan River (Ringgold, VA), 8-5, in a non-league match.
The Buffaloes (3-4) will now prepare for their match against Radford (Radford, VA). The Bobcats go into the Three Rivers match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, Radford was overwhelmed by Virginia High (Bristol, VA), 15-8, in a non-league match.
