The Humboldt Cubs baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Neodesha Blue Streaks to 9 in the Cubs non-league victory on Monday.
The Cubs (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Erie (Erie, KS). The Red Devils go into the Tri-Valley match with a 0-0 record.
The Blue Streaks (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Fredonia (Fredonia, KS). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Fredonia was edged by Caney Valley (Caney, KS), 9-8, in a non-league match.
