In Monday's league game, the host Laurel Spartans baseball team scored a tight 6-0 victory over the Northwestern Wildcats.
The Spartans (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Bladensburg (Bladensburg, MD). The Mustangs go into the Prince George's County 4A game with a 2-0 record.
The Wildcats (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Eleanor Roosevelt (Greenbelt, MD). The Raiders go into the Prince George's County 4A game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Eleanor Roosevelt was overwhelmed by High Point (Beltsville, MD), 16-11, in a league game.
