The Midland Trail Patriots crushed the host Sherman Tide baseball team by a count of 8-2 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Patriots now possess a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Woodrow Wilson for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 28. Midland Trail will face a Flying Eagles team coming off a 11-9 non-league win over South Charleston (South Charleston, WV). The Flying Eagles record now stands at 4-3.
Next, the Tide face the Man Hillbillies (Man, WV) in a Freelance bout, on Tuesday, March 28. Sherman will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Hillbillies enter the bout with a 4-0 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Wyoming East (New Richmond, WV).
