In Monday's league game, the visiting South Carroll Cavaliers baseball team scored a tight 14-9 victory over the Westminster Owls.
The Cavaliers (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Winters Mill (Westminster, MD). The Falcons go into the Carroll County Athletic game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Winters Mill tipped Francis Scott Key (Union Bridge, MD), 3-0, in a league game.
The Owls (1-2) will now prepare for their game against South River (Edgewater, MD). The Seahawks go into the non-league game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, South River was overwhelmed by Leonardtown (Leonardtown, MD), 3-2, in a non-league game.
