The Wheelersburg Pirates crushed the host Waverly Tigers baseball team by a tally of 7-0 in Monday's league bout.
The Pirates now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host South Webster for a Southern Ohio II bout on Wednesday, March 29. Wheelersburg will face a Jeeps team coming off a 8-6 non-league win over Wellston (Wellston, OH). The Jeeps record now stands at 1-0.
Next, the Tigers face the Miami Trace Panthers (Washington Courthouse, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, April 4. Waverly will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record.
