The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Grossmont Foothillers (El Cajon, CA) and the host Monte Vista Monarchs (Spring Valley, CA), saw Grossmont's lacrosse team top Monte Vista by a margin of 19-6.

The Foothillers (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Granite Hills (El Cajon, CA). The Eagles enter the Grossmont challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Granite Hills beat El Capitan (Lakeside, CA), 6-2, in a league challenge.
