North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Atkins drops to Western Guilford

March 27, 2023: Greensboro, NC 27410

In Monday's non-league test, the host Western Guilford Hornets lacrosse squad scored a tight 10-5 victory over the Atkins Camels.

The Hornets now have a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northwest Guilford for a Metro test on Thursday, March 30. Western Guilford will face a Vikings squad coming off a 13-5 non-league loss to Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 5-3.

In their next game, the Camels face the Bishop McGuinness Villains (Kernersville, NC) in a Mid-State/Mid Piedmont/NW Piedmont test, on Thursday, March 30. Atkins will attempt to move on its 7-2 season record. The Villains come into the test with a 5-4 record after their 15-12 non-league loss to Christ the King (Huntersville, NC).
