The Mechanicsville Mustangs lacrosse team scored 21 points and held the visiting Highland Springs Springers to 2 in the Mustangs league win on Monday.

The Mustangs (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Thomas Dale (Chester, VA). The Knights go into the non-league game with a 1-3 record. In their last game, Thomas Dale was overwhelmed by Clover Hill (Midlothian, VA), 15-0, in a non-league game.

The Springers (0-5) will now prepare for their game against Monacan (Richmond, VA). The Chiefs go into the non-league game with a 2-5 record. In their last game, Monacan was overwhelmed by Powhatan (Powhatan, VA), 17-6, in a league game.
