Next, the Eagles confront the Grayson County Blue Devils (Independence, VA) in a Mountain Empire challenge, on Thursday, March 30. Auburn will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 7-2 league loss to Giles (Pearisburg, VA).

The Maroons now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Galax for a Mountain Empire challenge on Thursday, March 30. George Wythe will confront a Maroon Tide team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Graham (Bluefield, VA). The Maroon Tide record now stands at 3-0.
