West Virginia High School Softball - Nicholas County bounces Braxton County

March 27, 2023: Sutton, WV 26601

The Nicholas County Grizzlies (Summersville, WV) softball routed the host Braxton County Eagles (Sutton, WV), 12-2 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Grizzlies (2-1) will now prepare for their bout against Greenbrier West (Charmco, WV). The Cavaliers go into the non-league bout with a 6-0 record. In their last bout, Greenbrier West toppled Woodrow Wilson (Beckley, WV), 8-0, in a non-league bout.

The Eagles now possess a 0-4 record. They play next when they host Webster County for a Little Kanawha bout on Tuesday, March 28. Braxton County will confront a Highlanders squad coming off a 18-8 league loss to Greenbrier West (Charmco, WV). The Highlanders record now stands at 0-3.
