West Virginia High School Softball - Wirt County bounces Calhoun

The Wirt County Tigers (Elizabeth, WV) softball routed the visiting Calhoun Red Devils (Mt. Zion, WV), 17-2 in Monday's league bout.

The Tigers (1-4) will now prepare for their bout against St. Marys (St. Marys, WV). The Blue Devils go into the Little Kanawha bout with a 4-1 record. In their last bout, St. Marys toppled Ravenswood (Ravenswood, WV), 3-0, in a league bout.

The Red Devils now possess a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to South Harrison for a Little Kanawha bout on Tuesday, March 28. Calhoun will confront a Hawks squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Roane County (Spencer, WV). The Hawks record now stands at 1-1.
