The Cross Episcopal Stingrays (Bluffton, SC) softball routed the visiting Whale Branch Warriors (Beaufort, SC), 18-3 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Stingrays (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against John Paul II (Ridgeland, SC). The Golden Warrriors go into the non-league bout with a 5-4 record. In their last bout, John Paul II toppled Battery Creek (Beaufort, SC), 11-9, in a non-league bout.

The Warriors now possess a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Bamberg-Ehrhardt for a A Region 7 bout on Wednesday, March 29. Whale Branch will confront a Red Raiders squad coming off a 6-4 league loss to Branchville (Branchville, SC). The Red Raiders record now stands at 1-1.
