Greenback Cherokees (Greenback, TN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Oakdale Eagles (Oakdale, TN), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Cherokees now own a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Harriman for a 1A District 4 challenge on Thursday, March 30. Greenback will battle a Blue Devils squad coming off a 11-0 non-league loss to Roane County (Kingston, TN). The Blue Devils record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, Oakdale falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Rockwood (Rockwood, TN) to battle the Tigers in a 1A District 4 challenge on Tuesday, March 28. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 1-4. Rockwood won 2-1 in their recent non-league challenge against York Institute (Jamestown, TN)
