Greenbrier West Cavaliers (Charmco, WV) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Woodrow Wilson Flying Eagles (Beckley, WV), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Cavaliers now own a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they host Nicholas County for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 29. Greenbrier West will battle a Grizzlies squad coming off a 12-2 non-league win over Braxton County (Sutton, WV). The Grizzlies record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Woodrow Wilson falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Flying eagles travel to Independence (Coal City, WV) to battle the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 28. The Patriots enter the challenge with a record of 5-0. Independence won 8-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Midland Trail (Hico, WV)
