Virginia High School Softball - Skyline can't get by James Wood

In Monday's league contest, the James Wood Colonels (Winchester, VA) softball team held off the host Skyline Hawks (Front Royal, VA), by a margin of 14-13.

With the triumph, James Wood moves its record to 5-0 on the year. The Colonels host Liberty (Bealeton, VA) to play the Eagles in a Northwestern contest on Tuesday, March 28. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 1-1.

In their next game, the Hawks play the Broadway Gobblers (Broadway, VA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, March 30. Skyline will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Gobblers come into the contest with a 5-2 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA).
