The Kewanee Boilermakers softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Newman Central Catholic Comets to 1 in the Boilermakers league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Kewanee improves its record to 3-0 on the year. The Boilermakers travel to Stark County (Toulon, IL) to clash with the Rebels in a non-league game on Wednesday, March 29. The Rebels come into the game with a record of 0-2.
In their next game, the Comets clash with the Kewanee Boilermakers (Kewanee, IL) in a Three Rivers East game, on Thursday, March 30. Newman Central Catholic will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
