The Lamar County Bulldogs softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Winfield Pirates to 1 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Lamar County improves its record to 4-6 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Berry (Berry, AL) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league game on Wednesday, March 29. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 0-1. Berry lost 13-0 in their recent non-league game against Hamilton (Hamilton, AL)

In their next game, the Pirates clash with the Phil Campbell Bobcats (Phil Campbell, AL) in a 3A Area 15 game, on Tuesday, March 28. Winfield will attempt to improve on its 10-5 season record.
