West Virginia High School Softball - Lewis County bounces Preston

March 27, 2023: Kingwood, WV 26537

The Lewis County Minutemen (Weston, WV) softball routed the host Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV), 10-2 in Monday's league bout.

The Minutemen (3-0) will now prepare for their bout against Robert C. Byrd (Clarksburg, WV). The Eagles go into the Big Ten bout with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Robert C. Byrd gained a win over East Fairmont (Fairmont, WV), 20-2, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Knights play the University Hawks (Morgantown, WV) in a Two Rivers contest, on Tuesday, March 28. Preston will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Hawks come into the contest with a 4-2 record after their 10-9 league win over Oak Glen (New Cumberland, WV).
