Redwood Giants (Larkspur, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Novato Hornets (Novato, CA), 11-0 in a league challenge.

The Giants now own a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to San Rafael for a Marin County challenge on Wednesday, March 29. Redwood will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 8-0 league win over Terra Linda (San Rafael, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-2.

With the loss, Novato falls to 6-6 on the campaign. The Hornets host Tamalpais (Mill Valley, CA) to battle the Red Tailed Hawks in a Marin County challenge on Wednesday, March 29. The Red Tailed Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 2-5. Tamalpais lost 5-1 in their recent league challenge against Marin Catholic (Kentfield, CA)
