West Virginia High School Softball - Shady Spring bounces Princeton

Shady Spring Tigers (Shady Spring, WV) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Princeton Tigers (Princeton, WV), 16-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Summers County for a Coalfield AA challenge on Wednesday, March 29. Shady Spring will face a Bobcats squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to Richwood (Richwood, WV). The Bobcats record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Princeton falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Woodrow Wilson (Beckley, WV) to face the Flying Eagles in a Mountain State challenge on Wednesday, March 29. The Flying Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 3-3. Woodrow Wilson won 4-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Independence (Coal City, WV)
