East Carter Raiders (Grayson, KY) boosters went home happy Wednesday as they saw their baseball squad beat the visiting Blazer Tomcats (Ashland, KY), 8-0 in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Raiders play the Rowan County Vikings (Morehead, KY) in a non-league contest, on Friday, March 29. East Carter will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Vikings enter the contest with a 11-0 record after their 7-3 non-league win over Mason County (Maysville, KY).

The Tomcats now sport a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Greenup County for a non-league contest on Thursday, March 28. Blazer will play a Musketeers squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Fleming County (Flemingsburg, KY). The Musketeers record now stands at 2-5.
