The Mansfield Wolverines baseball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Pleasant Hill Eagles to 5 in the Wolverines non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Wolverines (3-6) will now prepare for their match against Red River (Coushatta, LA). The Bulldogs go into the 2A District 3 match with a 16-5 record. In their last match, Red River was overwhelmed by Natchitoches Central (Natchitoches, LA), 7-0, in a non-league match.
The Eagles (0-6) will now prepare for their match against Sicily Island (Sicily Island, LA). The Tigers go into the non-league match with a 0-10 record. In their last match, Sicily Island was overwhelmed by Georgetown (Georgetown, LA), 25-13, in a non-league match.
