The Cupertino Pioneers held off the host Mountain View Spartans volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Wednesday's league test.

The Pioneers now have a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Monta Vista for a test on Friday, March 29.

The Spartans (5-6) will now prepare for their test against Homestead (Cupertino, CA). The Mustangs enter the test with a 2-7 record. In their last test, Homestead was nudged by Bellarmine College Prep (San Jose, CA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
