In Wednesday's league test, the host Spring Mills Cardinals lacrosse squad scored a tight 23-20 victory over the Jefferson County Wild.

The Cardinals now have a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Preston for a WVSLA - Division II test on Saturday, April 6. Spring Mills will face a Knights squad coming off a 15-7 league loss to Martinsburg (Martinsburg, WV). The Knights record now stands at 0-5.

In their next game, the Wild face the Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV) in a WVSLA - Division II test, on Saturday, March 30. Jefferson County will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Knights come into the test with a 0-3 record after their 15-8 league loss to John Marshall (Glen Dale, WV).
