In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Kearney Bearcats baseball team scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Columbus Discoverers.
The Bearcats (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Millard West (Omaha, NE). The Wildcats go into the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Millard West was edged by Omaha Westside (Omaha, NE), 5-1, in a league game.
The Discoverers (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Norris (Firth, NE). The Titans go into the non-league game with a 1-1 record.
